April 1st, 2005 Hokkaido University established the Research Center for Zoonosis Control.
May 1st, 2007 Hokkaido University established the Hokudai Center for Zoonosis Control in Zambia.
September 13th, 2007 The research building was completed.
April 1st, 2010 CZC started to function as a Joint Usage / Research Center.
January 1st, 2011 Division of Bioinformatics and Division of Infection and Immunity were established.
November 25th, 2011 CZC started to function as WHO Collaborating Centre for Zoonoses Control.
April 1st, 2012 Unit of Risk Analysis and Management was established.
March 25th, 2015 The research building 2 was completed.
April 1st, 2015 Laboratory for Biologics Development was established.
April 1st, 2018 Division of anti-virus drug research, Shionogi & Co.,Ltd. was established.
April 1st, 2021 CZC was reorganized into the International Institute for Zoonosis Control.
April 1st, 2021 Division of Pathogen Structure and Division of Vaccine Immunology were established.
April 1st, 2021 Unit of Risk Analysis and Management and Laboratory for Biologics Development were reorganized into Divisions.
April 1st, 2021 Hokudai Center for Zoonosis Control in Zambia and Unit of International Cooperation were integrated into Division of International Research Promotion.
