Division of Infection and Immunity
Toward control of bacterial infectious diseases
With a view for controlling bacterial infectious diseases, the Division of Infection and Immunity is engaging in various research activities, including molecular level analysis and surveillance in places where infectious diseases frequently occur. Our laboratory performs molecular level analysis using the methods of protein engineering and molecular biology, and also visits acctual sites where infectious diseases occur to study the mechanisms of infectious diseases. Our goal is to contribute to zoonosis control through broad understanding of bacterial infectious diseases at both micro and macro levels.
