Laboratory exploring the world of virusesIn our laboratory, we are exploring the world of viruses
extensively, from their structures at the atomic and molecular
level to their ecology at the global level.
Specifically, we
are working on viruses and infectious diseases from various
perspectives, from the development of antiviral drugs, to the
elucidation of infection mechanisms at the cellular and individual
levels, to the elucidation of natural hosts and transmission
routes of viruses, and field epidemiological studies.
Through
these multifaceted approaches, we will continue our research to
conquer viral zoonoses and protect the health of humans and
animals.
